Countryside
An idyllic rural setting, with both grand villas and cosy cottages. An area of stud farms and walking country framed by mountains and beach.
Beach
A wonderful, wild, sandy beach stretching for 4 miles. Temporary lagoons, left by the receding tide, are warmed by the sun.
Activities

Horse (and camel!) riding is enormously popular here and the Silvermine Nature Reserve offers wonderful walking and climbing.
Locals
Very much a village atmosphere with pubs and farm stalls, the locals are very welcoming. A great place for families.
Chapman;s Peak
This dramatic mountainside, dropping directly into the sea, is famous for the engineering feat that created the incredibly scenic road to Hout Bay.
